promises to keep

***

i can do these things flawlessly   .
f l              a w    les  s     l          y
i do not have time to be anything
other than swift          and s u    re
i have promises to keep, & m i les
to go before i sle    e                   p
this is not unfamiliar, & you know
cupid has his    b a r b   neither in
my h e    ad  nor my hhh ee a rr rrt
- my invocation for a sudden stitch
. i have come all this   w     a   y  ,
hardly to arrive at the moment of
d   d   d d de  pen   d   en   c   e   ?
it is an end, it is an interim,   it is
beginning, it begins this way, sure
focus, and then flawless. and then
finish. familiar, & finite. the end .
